Jill Hennessy
The resident from Edmonton, Alberta has a multi-generational ancestry that includes Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. Jacqueline is her twin sister. She is also an actor. Growing up, Jill became fluent in several languages, including Italian, French and Spanish. As she was 12 years old of age, Jill started to get interested in with acting. At the age of 12, in Toronto She began acting professionally as an actress in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort along with one of the sisters. She then studied improv comedy at Second City under Deb Kimmet. After relocating from New York, Claire signed a contract for two years for Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. For the duration of her 3 year stint and beyond, she spent her time performing in feature films, such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), as well as I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). In the years that followed she was offered roles in a series of forgettable flicks. Then, in 1999 she was cast as a lead in the mini-series uremberg with Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed, as did Exit Wounds. Her first lead role was in the NBC crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007 for her work to the show she was recognized by Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Lead in a Drama Series". She married another actor, Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. The couple has two children. She was inducted to Canada's Walk of Fame in 2007.
