Jessica Chastain, an American television and film actress who is known for her performance as powerful female characters in female-oriented films. After seeing the US stage production 'Joseph the Amazing Tecnhicolor dreamcoat she began to take an interest in acting. She made her professional stage debut with a stage production of "Romeo & Juliet," and her first film appearance with a role in the drama film "Jolene'. Her popularity increased with her film roles, like 'Take Shelter", 'The Help', 'Mama' and "Interstellar". She received the Golden Globe Award for her performance in 'Zero Dark Three which was nominated for "Best Actress". Her most well-known roles portray females who are strong and flawed. Some of them are considered to be feminist. Her voice is flamboyant and she's who stands up for gender equality in wages.
